the roads in pai are great.
long, slightly windy, fairly hilly.
the temperature is great for scootering.

there’s long stretches with nothing but fields and trees and things.
and every now and again you see a single lonesome soul walking purposefully along a bit of road you know has nothing for a good few miles on in either direction.
